Beloved, have you ever experienced loss or setbacks in your life? Maybe you’ve lost a job, a relationship, or even a loved one. It can be difficult to see how things can ever be restored or made right again. But the good news is that with God, all things are possible, and He can restore all that was lost.
In Joel 2:25–26, God promises, “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and you shall praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you.” This promise shows us that God is in the business of restoration. He can take what was lost or stolen and restore it to us, often in greater measure than what we had before.
Consider the story of Job in the Old Testament. He lost everything he had, including his wealth, his health, and even his children. But in the end, God restored to him double what he had lost. Job 42:10 tells us, “And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends.” And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”
God is not only capable of restoring what was lost, but He is also willing to do so. He is a good Father who desires to see His children blessed and restored. It may not happen overnight, but if you trust in Him and continue to seek Him, He will bring restoration to your life.
In conclusion, remember that with God, anything is possible, and He is able to restore all that was lost. Trust in His power and His promises, and watch as He works miracles in your life.
