About Nkiru Ogamba

Finding God Early

Dr Nkiru “Nikki” Ogamba (Bishop Nikki) founded the All Nations Living Fountains Church and World Outreach Center (ANLFC), which has its headquarters in Los Angeles, California. She is also the founder of the “Open-Door Communication Network” Television Broadcasting System (OCN), “Your Favorite 24-hour Christian Television Station!” that spreads the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the nations of the world (also located in Los Angeles, California).

This vision began as a journey, and it eventually gave birth to the ministry whose influence has been greatly felt, liberating and transforming lives to the glory of God since its inception.

We know that God’s heart desires to draw close to every one of his children. He has gifted the church with profound gifts in the fivefold for the building and edification of his body. Bishop Nkiru Ogamba has been ordained by God into ministry to the body of Christ, and she remains grateful for the honour to serve God’s people.

She was privileged to find God early as a young teenage girl during the Biafra war in Nigeria, her country of origin, which lasted between 1967 – 1970. Whoever thought that such a gruesome war could bring a blessing as beautiful as the gift of salvation and birthing one’s destiny?

Bishop Nikki is also an Aerospace Electrical Engineer and an Educator of Mathematics and Science.  She is the wife of  Dr. Chris Ogamba, the mother of three adult children – son, Chibueze, married to Crisol, through whom she is a grandmother of two grandchildren; daughter Ogechi married to Henry Ikhile; and Isaac their youngest son.

EDUCATION AND CAREER

At the tertiary level, Nkiru Ogamba was schooled in the United States as an aeronautical electrical engineer.

She grew in her career and worked as an electrical engineer for many Department of Defence programmes. Bishop Nikki is also an educator of mathematics and science.

FAMILY

While still studying in school, Bishop Nkiru Ogamba met her loving husband Dr Chris Ogamba.

Psalms 127 verse 4 tells us that as arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Bishop Nkiru and Dr Chris Ogamba have been happily married and God blessed their union with three children: a son, Chibueze, who is married to Crisol and has blessed the family even more with two grandchildren; a daughter, Ogechi, who is married to Henry Ikhile; and Isaac, their youngest son.

THE CALL

After building a career and raising lovely children, the call for ministry came and Nkiru Ogamba obeyed.

In 1985, the lord impressed on the heart of the Bishop to step out and begin ministry, she then moved to California.

She began getting invitations from all around the world to preach the gospel of Christ and many lives were transformed.

She went on mission trips assisted by some American Pastors and Ministers from different races. Then the vision “Africans for Christ Ministries” was born to spread the Word of God with the Power of the Holy Spirit and the Love of Christ Jesus.

It flourished from small fellowship meetings in hotels to organized conferences and conventions in California featuring guest speakers such as Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Dr Myles, Monroe, and others. Bishop Nkiru Ogamba and her team held a great convention at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California in 1991, which had a massive impact on the city and was televised for four days. Thousands of believers were present, and many were saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and encouraged in the Lord.

The passion increased and so did the grace to do the work. God used the ministry to advance the gospel through door-to-door evangelism in California.

The brethren continued to fellowship together meeting two to three times a week including Sundays for Bible Study, Prayer and ministration of the word. During one of the meetings, Bishop Nkiru narrates that one of the ministers Nkoli Benjamin (Late) said to her “You know this is already a church… don’t you?”.  Those felt like prophetic words because not long after Bishop Nkiru Ogamba was ordained a “Pastor” by Archbishop Benson Idahosa (Late-Benin, Nigeria).

Dr Nkiru “Nikki” Ogamba is loved by all who have crossed paths with her. It is no surprise because who wouldn’t love the warmth, cheerful smile, compassionate hug, deep counsel and heartfelt prayer from one who cares deeply for you? She has embraced many as her sons and daughters in the faith. She is a mother figure and is fondly described as, “ the mother who only wants the best for you.”
