The Spirit of the Lord Upon Us For Divine Supply & Wealth Increase

Hello, dear reader! Are you ready to dive into today’s subject? Because today, we’re set to see  Isaiah 61 and Luke 4, where we learn about how the Spirit of the Lord empowers us to experience double portion manifestations and restoration!

Isaiah 61:1 tells us that “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me.” Can you feel the excitement building already? Knowing that the Spirit is upon us, we are anointed to preach good tidings to the meek, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and open the prison to them that are bound. Hallelujah!

But that’s not all. The amazing promises of God continue in verses 4-7. We shall build the old wastes, raise up the former desolations, and repair the waste cities! Strangers shall stand and feed our flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be our plowmen and vinedressers. We shall be named the Priests of the LORD, and people will call us the Ministers of our God. We shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory, we shall boast ourselves. And best of all, for our shame, we shall have double, and for confusion, we shall rejoice in our portion. Therefore, in our land, we shall possess double! Can I get an amen?

And let’s not forget about Luke 4:18-19. Jesus Himself declared that He was anointed to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, deliver the captives, and set at liberty those that are bruised. He came so that we might have life and have it more abundantly! Our cup truly overflows with blessings and goodness, all because of the Spirit of the Lord upon us.

But wait, there’s more! Exodus 22:2-4 tells us that if a thief be found breaking up and be smitten that he die, there shall be no blood shed for him, but if the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, he shall restore double! What the enemy has stolen from us, God promises to restore double! Glory to God!

Finally, we end with Joel 2:23-32, where we are encouraged to rejoice in the Lord because He has given us the former rain moderately and will cause the rain, the former, and latter, to come down for us in the first month. The floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. God promises to restore the years that the locusts have eaten, and we shall eat in plenty, be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord our God. His people shall never be ashamed because He is in the midst of Israel, and He will pour out His spirit upon all flesh. Sons and daughters shall prophesy, old men shall dream dreams, and young men shall see visions. And everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered!

What an incredible promise and an incredible God we serve! So today, let us be motivated by the power of the Holy Spirit within us, knowing that He empowers us for double portion manifestations and restoration. No matter what the enemy has stolen from us, God is faithful to restore it and bless us abundantly. So let us rejoice and give thanks for all the blessings and goodness He has poured out upon our lives. Amen and amen!
