Dear readers,
I am Martha, and my life story is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace. I am here to share with you how God’s love and mercy kept me alive and gave me strength despite the challenges I faced.
Growing up, I was born premature and weighed only two pounds, but my mother’s faith in God’s healing power kept me alive. However, my father, who was a pastor, did not live what he preached. Instead, he spoke negative words and cursed us regularly, even though he was leading two different churches.
These words wounded me deeply and affected the trajectory of my life. I was devastated when my mother passed away, and my father’s negative words made me feel unloved and hated. It was a dark and lonely time, but God’s light never left my side.
At 18, I left home to escape the negative environment, but even then, God’s love preserved me. He never let me stray from His path, and His strength sustained me even when I felt weak. Despite my father’s bad example at home, my faith in God remained unwavering.
Today, I stand before you as a minister of God, a mother, and a grandmother. I am over sixty years old and living proof that God is faithful and can turn even the darkest moments of our lives into a testimony of His love and grace.
I give all the glory to God Almighty for keeping me alive, preserving my faith, and transforming my life. Friends, if you are going through a difficult time, remember that God is with you. He can turn your pain into a testimony and your weakness into strength.
